To become a vendor, please sign up on the vendor registration and follow through the required steps, once regsitration has been completed. Your profile will be re-viewed and if successful your profile will be activated and you may then begin setting up you store and products,

To have a store on Aqua Market is free, we only charge a 12% commission + R2 Fee per transaction, this includes the payment gateway and banking fees, the website management and hosting costs, marketing, advertising and support.

As a store vendor you get access to your own personal store within Aqua Market as well as a custom logo and banner branding. Unlimited product listings, ability to provide coupons/discounted offers, custom sales, predifined shipping methods, sales reporting, stock control and customer reviews.

You can sell any fresh or salt water livestock, plants, equipment, food etc anything pertaining to the hobby, provided it is not on the banned list or is illegal, please see list here: list

Aqua Market pays out vendor sales on the 25th of each month, at a R10 withdrawal fee, you may request multiple withdrawal's, however the R10 fee will incur per each withdrawal, you can also monitor and keep track of all sales via the reports in store Manger.

Aqua Market is constanly adding it to the ever changing lists of products, if they are not available, please email us at support@aquamarket.co.za with the list and we will add them on.

Aqua Market uses the Courier Guy as their preferred shipping method and there is the option for local pickup for your customers too. However depending on your shipping location and where you are shipping to, you may need to use airfreight such as BidAir, especially for large live stock such as Discus when doing provincial shipping, Please only ship Live stock out between a Monday - Wednesday if using road freight to avoid stock being left over a weekend in the depot should the delivery not take place.

If shipping is selected, the client will see a "Request Quote" on the shipping checkout, Aqua Market will then contact you for your parcel dimensions and weight and will update the clients cart with the latest shipping quote once calculated and they will then get an email notification to say the shipping quote has been updated, if you require shipping through BidAir, please contact them directly for a quote and provide us with the shipping price which we will update your clients cart with.

Once the client places the order, you will get a notification of the order and can let us know when you wish for the collection to take place, we will then book the collection for you. We are investigating a more automated shipping calculation method, though it is very difficult when it comes to livestock. So currently this is the most safest and accurate method.
