Bristlenose plecos are peaceful and hardy and excellent additions to a community aquarium.

They are one of the best algae eaters which will keep your aquarium glass clean while also scavenging uneaten fish food. Adult size of 10 – 13cm.

Males can get territorial with other males and should be provided adequate hiding places such as driftwood or caves.
